33 YRS EXPERIENCE IN THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY IN VARIOUS ENGINEERING, SUPERVISORY, AND MANAEGEMENT POSITIONS, PRIMARILY IN THE DRILLING AND COMPLETIONS DISCIPLINES.  EMPLOYED BY UNION OIL CO. OF CALIFORNIA (SUBSEQUENTLY UNOCAL) FOR 16 YRS FROM 1976 TO 1992, INCLUDING 3 YRS BASIC TRAINING IN RESERVOIR, PRODUCTION & WELL OPERATIONS ENGINEERING.  DRILLING EXPERIENCE INCLUDES 2 YRS RIG BASED AS DRILLING ENGINEER AND DRILLING SUPERVISOR, 2 YRS AS DISTRICT DRILLING ENGINEER IN THE UK, 3 YRS AS DRILLING SUPERINTENDENT IN INDONESIA, 2 YRS DRILLING TECHNICAL ADVISOR FOR UNOCAL (SECONDED TO STATOIL IN NORWAY), AND 31/2 YRS AS DRILLING MANAGER IN THE UK, RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF UNOCAL’S OFFSHORE EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT DRILLING, AS WELL AS PLATFORM WORKOVERS AND REDRILLS.  FORMED PERFORMANCE DRILLING LIMITED - A DRILLING MANAGEMENT, ENGINEERING & SUPERVISION CONSULTANCY FIRM – IN 1992, AND EXECUTED VARIOUS PROJECTS IN THE UK FOR UNOCAL, LOFFLAND BROTHERS, SANTA FE DRILLING, PHILLIPS, HAMILTON BROTHERS, TEXACO, AND EDS (DRESSER-BAROID).  ASSIGNED AS TEAM LEADER IN JUNE 1993 FOR THE WELL CONSTRUCTION TEAM IN NAM’S “GO” PARTNERING INITIATIVE, RESPONSIBLE FOR DESIGN, PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF NAM WELLS FOR A 2 TO 4 RIG OPERATION OFFSHORE NETHERLANDS.  FROM 1999, INVOLVED IN PROJECTS FOR VARIOUS CLIENTS WORLDWIDE, INCLUDING PROJECT PLANNING AND EXECUTION, TRAINING, PARTNER REPRESENTATION, AND GENERAL TECHNICAL AND MANAGERIAL CONSULTING AND ADVICE.    PARTICIPATED IN A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAM AS DRILLING REPRESENTATIVE FOR FRONT-END ENGINEERING FOR CHEVRON TEXACO’S 8-WELL SUBSEA DEVELOPMENT OFFSHORE UK, FOLLOWED BY LEADING A SMALL (5 PERSON) TEAM OF PERFORMANCE DRILLING PROFESSIONALS IN THE FINAL PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF THE PROJECT.  THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY CONTINUING IN A DRILLING SUPERINTENDENT POSITION FOR A 1-WELL EXPLORATION PROGRAMME WEST OF SHETLAND WITH THE WEST NAVION DP DRILLSHIP IN 3200 FT OF WATER.  SET UP WELL CONSTRUCTION TEAM TO MANAGE APACHE’S NORTH SEA WELL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES FOR UP TO A 4-RIG OPERATION FROM 2003-2005, INCLUDING ASSISTING IN SECURING AND DEVELOPING APACHE’S INTERNAL STAFF DRILLING ORGANIZATION.  FROM SEPTEMBER 2005, PROVIDED FULL PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAMS FOR DESIGN, PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF SOUTHERN NORTH SEA’S PROJECTS FOR PERENCO UK, NEWFIELD AND CENTRICA IN THE SOUTHERN NORTH SEA, WHILST PROVIDING CONSULTING ADVICE AND SUPPORT TO APACHE NORTH SEA, MOSAIC NATURAL RESOURCES, GRANBY OIL AND GAS, CENTURY, HERBERT SMITH, AND PETRO SUMMIT UK. 

EXTENSIVE DRILLING, COMPLETIONS AND WORKOVER EXPERIENCE IN ENGINEERING, SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT, SPECIALISING IN RECENT YEARS IN PARTNERING AND INCENTIVE INITIATIVES, WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD IN HIGH PERFORMANCE DRILLING OPERATIONS.
